RSL offers a lifetime warranty on all decorative and clear glass doorlights. Unlike others’ warranties, which offer as little as ten years for the glass seal and varied periods for different frames, RSL offers a standard lifetime warranty for the entire unit. We can confidently stand behind our lifetime warranty because our doorlights are simply superior.
Prehanging Efficiency
All RSL injection molded frames use “friction fit” connections. When your prehanging shop receives an RSL shipment, there are no screws to remove, therefore no chance for stripping; saving you substantial time and money. Since screws still hold a doorlight best, our doorlights ensure the best fit, the first time and every time.
Virtually Eliminate Field Failures
A significant advantage of using RSL doorlights is minimal service calls. These expensive and troublesome issues are eliminated by consistent quality doorlights from RSL. We are delighted to report that our products are shipped, received and used in doors without experiencing call backs 99.991% of the time!
Maintenance Free Frames
Now one frame does it all! RSL is currently the only doorlight manufacturer using a polymer innovation, called Styrosun. Styrosun is a weatherable, high impact plastic that was specifically designed for use in outdoor applications, with substantial UV color stability and high heat resistance. One of the most exciting breakthroughs in RSL’s new doorlight frame is the fact that it can be easily painted with no surface preparation. All of these product features meet our customer’s highest expectations with no extra charge! When we offer maintenance free doorlights, there are no exceptions; we offer non-yellowing, heat resistant, strong impact, weatherable and paintable frames competitively priced!
Easy to Stain and Paint
RSL’s Maintenance Free white injection molded frames offer superior outdoor weatherability and do not require finishing. If you choose to paint your new doorlight, we recommend Krylon’s Fusion, a paint specifically designed for use with plastics. For staining, we recommend a penetrating oil base stain for best results. In either case, no surface preparation is necessary. Whether your door is steel or fiberglass, smooth or embossed — RSL’s exclusive Styrosun white frame is the perfect choice.
Product Approved Testing
RSL has conducted extensive testing to comply with national codes for safety and energy efficiency (using NFRC & Energy Star standards). Our products have been tested in steel doors with a U-value (heat gain thru glass) of .38 for clear IG and .32 for Low-E IG and SHGC (solar heat gain coefficient) of .33 for clear IG and .21 for Low-E IG, and comply with Florida State Approval Code (#FL-4393).
